Event description

Description

In the years to come, not all regions of the world will be affected equally by climate change. Hosted in partnership with the Yale Club of Utah, Clark Planetarium welcomes Dr. Robert Mendelsohn, Professor at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies to present the first of our Summer Lecture Series.

If we could fast-forward to the year 2100, we likely wouldn’t recognize life on our planet. Living things will be forced to adapt or cease to exist and humans are no exception. Attend Dr. Mendelsohn’s lecture to learn more about the adaptations that climate change will necessitate and to discuss the possibility of global cooperation in mitigating the damages to humans from our changing planet.
