Event description

Description

Join the San Francisco Human Rights Commission, San Francisco State University, and our community partners for our summer Equity Summit, “Resolution, Revolution, & R-E-S-P-E-C-T,” moving from words to action in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love and Aretha Franklin’s “Respect.” Participate in workshops, learn strategies of engagement, and hear community perspectives on the pressing equity issues of our time. Work with renowned authors D. Watkins, listen to Black Lives Matter Co-founder Alicia Garza, and recharge with compelling performances, workshops, and youth presentations. Refreshments and lunch provided, with a networking reception and mixer to follow after the day’s programming.

For more information on the Summit please contact Veronica Garcia at the Human Rights Commission via veronica.garcia@sfgov.org or (415) 252-2500.
