Summer Dairy Series: Pasture Walk and Parasite Management in Pastures

This workshop will be a walk through the farms pastures, with discussion on topics including the essential agronomy of managing pasture as a crop; including pasture plant species, managing pasture forages (and weeds), and soil health. We will also talk about rising input costs for purchased grain, fertilizer and fuel, and strategies to use pasture and other crops to keep these cost of production down.

Bryony Sands of UVM will also share information on parasite management in pastures.
