What is Summer Bodies Workshops?
Summer Bodies is a donation based program designed for people who are looking to take a crash course on living consciously. Walking for Mommy and INKDthread will collaborate on creating a program that promotes good eating, proper exercise and an overall healthy outlook on life. These workshops will provide supporters of the Annual Awareness Walk held by Walking for Mommy, a reason to come together and start a change within themselves.
How does it work?
Each of the 12 workshops available are different so we encourge people to try as many as they like. Once you have made a donation (suggested $15) on this site, you will automatically be enrolled for the workshop. Please show up between 7:30 - 7:50 pm, class will start promptly. Please let the Gold's Gym front desk know that you are attending the Summer Bodies Workshop and they will direct you to the fitness room.
What should I bring?
Please come dressed for physical activity. All classes will consist of a 60 minute workout and 20 minute lecture. Feel free to bring bottled water and your own yoga mat.
Who does the Summer Bodies Workshops Benefit?
Proceeds of this program will benefit the Walking for Mommy Foundation in their reach to raise awareness and help people who are affected by vaginal cancer.
Who teaches the Summer Bodies Workshops?
Every trainer, instructor, and guest speakers was carefully selected by INKDthread [LifeStyle Group]. They are all professionally trained or certified to instruct on their given health or fitness subject. This group of workshop leaders are all volunteers and supporters of the cause. They will be here to train our members on finding the best fitness plan for their lifestyle.
+ Times : Workshops are held once a week for 12 weeks on Friday Nights from 7:50 - 9:20 pm. The schedule below will outline the courses.
WEEK TEN DEFEND & PREVENT : Get educated on how to protect your body from outside harm. An ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure. Combined with inner prevention care is a workout with mixed martial arts to strengthen your inner warrior.
