Event description

Description

The San Benito County Arts Council is enrolling students now for Summer Art Camp! Summer Art Camp is a great way for students to try different artistic styles, mediums and techniques in a condensed 3-day workshop format. Each workshop has two groups:

10 am- 12 pm for 5-7 year olds

1 pm- 3 pm for 8-12 year olds

ABOUT GRAFFITI ART CAMP

Students will learn about street art and create their own graffiti-inspired art by using chalk pastels, pencil, stencils and markers to create personally-styled works of art. All classes are taught by professional teaching artist, Stephanie Skow and take place at ARTspace in downtown Hollister.

Registration fee is $45/student and includes materials and snacks. $10 Sibling Discount (siblings must be enrolled in the same camp to qualify, although they may be in different age groups). For more information or to inquire about free tuition scholarships, please contact the Arts Council at info@sanbenitoarts.org or visit www.sanbenitoarts.org

Summer Art Camp is presented by the San Benito County Arts Council as part of our Community Art Education Program and is made possible by the support of the California Arts Council, the David & Lucille Packard Foundation, United Way serving San Benito County and Monterey Peninsula Foundation.
