EnterpriseWorks Chicago, PROPEL, and Argonne National Laboratory presents Summer 2015 Startup Series
Commercializing innovation and launching high-tech startups spans a breadth of activity and new ground for many in academia. EnterpriseWorks Chicago, PROPEL and Argonne National Laboratory have designed a series of presentations as an introduction to the legal, financial and business planning issues early stage innovators needs to know. Eight topics are presented from June to August by subject matter experts and designed to reach a broad audience, create a community environment for peer innovators turned entrepreneurs to meet each other and engage with subject matter experts. Presentations are structured as a “fire side chat” and allow for question and answers.
Monday August 17th, 4pm-6pm
Who do you want on your team? Who should be driving? Topics include diversity and depth in expertise and skills needed to start and grow in high-tech venture. Various scenarios for leadership acquisition and transition are explored. Panelists will include Tom Cox of McCarthy Fuddy, Rob Metz of Horizon Pharma and Harry Rowland of Endotronix.
