Summer 2015: MTSS 101: An Introduction to a Multi-Tiered System of Supports
Monday, August 3, 2015 at 12:00 PM - Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 11:59 PM (MDT)
This online course provides an introduction to MTSS with opportunities to reflect on one's own situation and to create an individual action plan for implementation steps. (Note: If you took a Face-to-Face MTSS Overview session, the content is very simple - nearly identical. However, you may still participate if you choose.)
There will be an obligation of one synchronous (real time) online connecting. Options of times for that interaction will be provided to participants by instructors. Other than that one hour obligation, participants can self-regulate and use self-pacing and time management to complete activities on their own time - as long as they meet designated deadlines as defined by the instructors.
This course may be available for Adams State University credit (0.5 credits). CDE Continuing Education Units (10 clock hours of professional learning re-certification credit) will be available for participants. There is no cost to register and earn the CDE credit. If ASU credit is made available as an option, participants may register with the University after the course starts; that ASU information will be provided in Blackboard (the course management system). The cost for ASU transcripted credit is $27.50.
