Our Suicide Intervention Skills Gatekeeper Training Workshop is a 2-hour educational program that includes an evidence-based suicide gatekeeper training known as QPR (Question, Persuade & Refer).

QPR is designed to teach lay & professional “gatekeepers” how to Question, Persuade, and Refer someone who may be suicidal, the common causes of suicidal behavior, the warning signs of suicide, and how to get help for someone in crisis.

We will have an opportunity to practice these new skills in a safe environment; participate in a group discussion about the impact suicide has in the world, in our communities, and in our personal lives; and we will talk about what community resources are available to utilize in a crisis for yourself or someone you love.

What's the refund policy?

Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

This isn't necessary, there will be a list of registrants at check-in. It is recommended, however, that you bring a water bottle and a pen to the training.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, you can do this yourself through Eventbrite or you can contact Charlotte at charlotte@theinnerlight.org with your request. There is a $5.00 fee to transfer your registration to another attendee or to transfer to another training date.
