About this event
The SUGAR Research Consortium aims to connect researchers around the world who share an interest in expanding knowledge of how we can leverage new technologies to produce higher quality research and in communicating the new knowledge via high-level publications.
The Consortium will connect early career researchers with experts in two methods for innovation research: Computational Modelling and Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA).
Are you curious to know more about Computational Topic Modelling?
Discuss your paper idea with the winners - Franziska Schmitt and Ariane Sasso - of the best paper in-track at the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS 2020) :
"Spotlight on women in tech: Fostering an inclusive workforce when exploring and exploiting digital innovation potentials". Request the paper here.
Are you curious to know more about Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA)?
Discuss your paper idea with the first author - Prof. Dr. Naomi Häffner - of the paper published in the Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice Journal (Financial Times 50 Journals Research Rank):
"With (Out) a Little Help From My Friends? Reconciling Incongruous Findings on Stakeholder Management, Innovation, and Firm Performance." (2021). Download the paper here.
During the Consortium , participants will be supported by the experts in the method and professors of all levels to advance their paper idea toward a realistic publication strategy.
On May 18th, the Consortium will conclude with participants pitching their paper ideas to more senior scholars - Prof. Dr. Janina Sundermeier (Freie Universität Berlin) and Prof. Dr. Falk Uebernickel (Hasso Plattner Institute).
The application deadline is May 5th at 11:55pm CEST.
The requirements to apply are: stamina for three intense days and eagerness for ambitious publications.
Places are limited. Paper ideas that are aligned with, at least, one of the mentors' research interests will be given preference.
