Description

A relaxed and inclusive community singing event in which the MRS SHAW HERSELF team ( Helen Tierney and Alexis Leighton) will lead rehearsal and performance on the Marquee Stage in the Bloomsbury Festival UCL Hub of Suffragette music including Ethel Smyth's March of the Women,Parry's Jerusalem and various Suffragette Chants.We will also have a George Bernard Shaw world premiere- the first public performance of his rewritten 2nd verse to God Save the King.

And of course after all that we will need some tea and cake at the Suffragette Tea Party which follows.
