Description

Join other therapists and wellbeing professionals to chat, network and learn together. £6.00 in advance £10 on the day subject to availability.

We will have 60 second introductions followed by a guided 10 to 15 minute relaxation/meditation plus a five minute Biz Profile from one of our members.

We will then hand over to Sarah Swanton for this month's Topic:

The 'Inner Journey' Of Being Self-employed (and how we can all stay sane!) with Sarah Swanton

Often described as the biggest personal development journey you'll ever go on, there is no doubt that the life of a small business owner is exhilarating, exhausting, fantastic, and frustrating - and that's just over the course of one day, sometimes!

It's one thing to learn your craft, and learn it well, but to manage your state of mind through the ups and downs of starting and growing a business can feel like a whole different ball game. Those feelings of "I can't do this" or "This is too hard" can feel really convincing at times, and the urge to give up can feel greater than to keep going.

This event will be a round table interactive discussion about everything we as small business owners go through on our self-employment journey, as we talk through blocks and challenges we all encounter from time to time, but most importantly how we stay sane along the way.

This is less of a workshop where you sit and listen to one person talk, rather more of a round table discussion, where we get real and honest about the realities of being your own boss. If you listen to The Happy Healthy Entrepreneur Podcast, you’ll know that as business owners there is something very powerful about learning from one another. What feels like a breeze to one person, is a daily uphill struggle to another. Each of us has something to teach, and each of us has something to learn. No (wo)man is an island.

Sarah invites you to come along with an open mind, ready to get into discussion about the daily challenges of being a business owner, and most importantly be willing to share strategies, solutions, and best practices that have particularly worked well for you, whilst at the same time, learning from others who are maybe a few steps ahead on overcoming something you find to be a challenge.

Some of the topics we may get on to are self-care, setting emotional and physical boundaries, dealing with disappointment, anxiety and worrying about money, and social media & marketing.
