Sudan, Remember Us
Overview
Experience the power of Sudanese storytelling through Sudan, Remember Us, a moving documentary that captures the spirit of a nation fighting for freedom and dignity.
This film bears witness to Sudan’s 2019 revolution and its heartbreaking descent into war, documenting activists who refuse to be silenced. “Bullets don’t kill,” one young man declares. “What kills is people’s silence.”
Join us for an evening of film, reflection, and solidarity as we come together to honor the resilience of the Sudanese people. Hear insights from members of Ottawa’s Sudanese community, enjoy light refreshments, and take part in meaningful conversations and activities throughout the night.
