The Festival Pass for Succeed2gether's Montclair Literary Festival 2020 gives you entry to all six ticketed festival events, including a book for each book talk event. (Note: this pass does not include VIP venue entry, VIP receptions [where available], VIP seating and Festival Party, and ticketed publishing workshops.)

  • Entry to Tightrope: Americans Reaching for Hope talk on Wednesday March 25 at 7:00 pm, with Nicholas Kristof & Sheryl WuDunn, and moderated by former NJ gubernatorial candidate Jim Johnson. Includes a copy of Tightrope. This event is held at the St James Episcopal Church, 581 Valley Rd, Montclair, 07043.
  • Entry to Tough Love talk on Friday March 27 at 7:00 pm, with Ambassador Susan Rice, and moderated by former Secretary of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson. Includes a copy of Tough Love. This event is held at the Alexander Kasser Theater, Montclair State University, 1 Normal Ave, Montclair, 07043.
  • Entry to Mobituaries talk on Saturday March 28 at 12:15 pm, with Mo Rocca and co-author Jonathan Greenberg. Includes a copy of Mobituaries. This event is held at The Sanctuary, First Congregational Church, 40 South Fullerton Ave, Montclair, 07042.
  • Entry to Circe talk on Saturday March 28 at 4:00 pm, with Madeline Miller and her editor Lee Boudreaux. Includes a paperback copy of Circe (to pick up from Watchung Booksellers from April 14). This event is held at The Sanctuary, First Congregational Church, 40 South Fullerton Ave, Montclair, 07042.
  • Entry to The Splendid and the Vile talk on Saturday March 28 at 6:30 pm, with Erik Larson and author Christina Baker-Kline. Includes a copy of The Splendid and the Vile. This event is held at The Sanctuary, First Congregational Church, 40 South Fullerton Ave, Montclair, 07042.
  • Entry to Arguing with Zombies: Economics, Politics, and the Fight for a Better Future talk on Sunday March 29 at 4:00 pm, with Paul Krugman and veteran journalist Bill Moyers. Includes a copy of Arguing with Zombies. This event is held at The Sanctuary, First Congregational Church, 40 South Fullerton Ave, Montclair, 07042.

The VIP Festival Pass includes all of the above plus:

  • VIP venue entrance to all six ticketed events
  • VIP seating for all six ticketed events
  • VIP Receptions with Nicholas Kristof & Sheryl WuDunn, Susan Rice, and Paul Krugman (authors' attendance subject to change), and buffet food and drink.

This ticket is to be redeemed for your festival pass the first time you attend the festival. Please visit the Information Stand in the foyer of the St James' Episcopal Church on Wednesday March 25, the Susan Rice event on Friday March 27 or the First Congregational Church on Saturday March 28.

These events are part of Succeed2gether's fourth annual Montclair Literary Festival, which will take place from March 25 to 29, 2020. Please visit succeed2gether.org/montclair-literary-festival/ for more details of the free program, which will feature more than 100 authors. The festival is a fundraiser for Montclair-based non-profit Succeed2gether, which offers after-school one-on-one tutoring and enrichment classes with the aim of closing the education opportunity gap in Essex County.
