About this event
Experience the flavors and cultures that make up the Su Casa community at our Tour de Tamales. Enjoy tamales, rice, and beans from La Unica, a Summer Avenue institution. See how some of the families from our adult English classes and preschool make tamales from their countries at home. Taste the varieties of tamales from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Colombia, and El Salvador. You can even make some tamales for yourself while meeting others from the community. Hear how their stories intersect with the work God has set before us here at Su Casa. Understand how our immigrant neighbors are a critical part of our community including how they are already making an impact.
