SU Advantage: Encouraging Courage in the Workplace hosted by the Women of SU


Hear from a panel of experts on the topic of courage in the workplace followed by the opportunity for structured networking.

Attendees will enjoy complimentary drinks and light appetizers while networking with fellow SU alumni and meeting members of the Women of SU affinity group.

On-campus paid parking is available for $6 as well as paid street parking and some free street parking on the east side of 12th Avenue. For more information on visitor parking see here.

Ann Yoo is Vice President, Senior Relationship Manager with Bank of the West’s National Banking Division in Seattle, serving commercial clients in Washington and Alaska. Ann has 24 years of experience in the banking industry. Ann has served on the board of Commercial Real Estate Women Seattle, is a member of the American Heart Association Go Red for Women’s Executive Leadership Team, is a member of the board of Pioneer Human Services and is a current board member and past president of the Seattle University Alumni Board of Governors.

Attorney & Entrepreneur, Kirsten Curry has an extensive resume in the retirement plan and financial services industries, including her role as founder and CEO of Leading Retirement Solutions (LRS). Kristen was a Co-President for the Women of Seattle University Alumni Chapter and a board member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. Kirsten is leading the conversation about the retirement savings gap of women. In 2017 she launched the first nationwide study of women business owners and leaders to better understand their financial and retirement preparedness.

Stephanie Peirolo helps creative companies manage change, working primarily as an executive coach for women in leadership, drawing on her experience as a leader in the advertising industry. She is also a writer and storyteller; her work has been featured on the Moth (moth.org), and in the book All These Wonders, True Stories about Facing the Unknown. This summer she staged a one-woman show called Disclosure about sexual harassment, and she writes and speaks about women in leadership.
