Event description

Description

Join us for our our first community restoration day of the year at Stusaft Park in Redwood City! Help us restore habitat for native insects, birds, fish, and other animals by planting California native plants and pulling invasive weeds.

This is a community workday; we invite volunteers of all ages to join us in this workday to restore habitat for wildlife at Stulsaft Park. Minors under 18 require a parent to approve the online waiver when registering for this event, and children under 12 require an accompanying adult (unless prior approval is obtained from the workday supervisor).

We will meet by the playgrounds (behind the restrooms) on the Farm Hill Blvd entrance of the park.

Please bring a reusable water bottle and dress for outdoor work (sturdy shoes and long pants recommended). We will provide gloves, tools, and snacks.

IMPORTANT: If you registered and find you cannot attend, please email alisa AT grassrootsecology DOT org so that your place will be available for another volunteer. Thank you!
