Study Group of Women (Free)

In celebration of International Women's Day we are starting a 6-week Women's Study Group. The topic is SHARING. We are going to share our books, our knowledge, our interests and questions, our joys and our treasures, and eventually our writings.
Starts October 31 and runs weekly on Thursdays through December 12 (with the exception of November 28 - Thanksgiving Day).
Dr. Senta Troemel-Ploetz is a prominent West German linguist, author and editor who currently resides in Lancaster, PA. She has taught workshops and seminars for women’s professional groups in Europe and the U.S. Her research and teaching center on issues of language and gender. She has a Ph.D in Formal Linguistics from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.A. in Linguistics from American University. She also earned an advanced degree beyond the Ph.D. in Germany for her work on language and psychotherapy. She has been visiting professor in Germany, Denmark, at Franklin and Marshall College and the University of Florida.
