Co-Creating Soft Circuits
About this event
In a world where wearable technology becomes more and more integrated in the fabric of our everyday lives, miniaturization of circuits and innovation in materials are allowing more seamless ways to embed circuitry, sensors and actuators in our garments. Consequently there are more possibilities to design soft circuits for wearable interactions that are more advanced than most mainstream smart watches. This way of designing requires the acquisition of new skills such as sewing circuits, creating soft sensors and programming soft physical computing systems.
The workshop builds on the previous "Soft Smart Sensors" offered last Spring and enables students with a basic knowledge of Arduino and soft circuitry to collaborate in co-creating a collaborative soft circuit together.
