Women in Leadership Mixer
Join Women in Leadership (WIL) at Thorton's Fenway Bar and Grille! Thorton's is located at 100 Peterborough St, Boston, MA. WIL will provide some appetizers, but bring money for more food and drinks if you'd like! Remember to bring your government issued ID or passport. The mission of WIL is to promote and foster leadership among the women at HSPH by raising awareness of gender equity and women’s issues, as well as, tackle barriers that have prevented women from shattering the glass ceiling. Chinese Students and Scholars Association and HSPH Student Dance Club Mixer
Join Chinese Students and Scholars Assocation (CSSA) and the HSPH Student Dance Club in the Joseph B. Martin Student Lounge in Vanderbilt Hall at the Harvard Medical School. CSSA and the Dance Club will be providing some food for all who attend. This is a great opportunity for new students and returning students will have a chance to get to know each other and learn about HSPH. The mission of CSSA is to help Chinese students who are new to the United States to adapt to the culture and focus on the public health situation in China by holding discussions among faculty and students. The mission of the Student Dance Club is to provide an opportunity for dance-loving students at HSPH to learn and practice the skills of various kinds of dance. Epidemiologic Methods Forum Mixer
Join Epi Methods Forum to eat ice cream from JP Licks! We will be meeting at the Office for Diversity and Inclusion, located at 35 Wigglesworth Street Boston, MA 02120 (on the corner of Wigglesworth and Huntington Avenue). Epi Methods Forum will be providing free ice cream for all that attend! Come learn about Epi Methods Forum from current members and how you can get involved this school year. Join the Queer Student Alliance at the Hidyan Cafe to enjoy some frozen yogurt! The address for Hidyan Cafe is 80 Kilmarnock St, Boston, MA. The mission of QSA is to Provide support and space for interaction with other lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender men and women. Educate QSA members and the HSPH community about public health issues as they relate to gay and bisexual people, and other issues that affect our community. Join Public Health, Innovation, and Technology Student Forum (PHIT) at The Squealing Pig for a mixer! The Squealing Pig is located at 134 Smith St, (right across Huntington Ave from HSPH). PHIT will be providing some food for those who attend. It's a great opportunity to meet other incoming and current students who share similar interests. The mission of PHIT is to provide an interactive forum for students to explore, connect and be leaders in the field of health, information and technology. Office for Student Affairs

The mission of the Office for Student Affairs (OSA) is to enrich the student experience at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health through a wide range of educational, cultural, and social programming. The staff advises student groups on a variety of issues including goal setting and event planning.

Among other things, OSA assists students with disabilities, works closely with officers of the student government, administers the MBTA discount pass program, assigns lockers, manages Orientation and Commencement programs and serves as an information source for students.
