Event Details

 The 5th annual Student Life Skills Conference occurs Monday, April 2nd through Friday, April 6th, 2018.

  • April 2nd - 4th: pre-conference sessions/workshops for students, faculty, and staff offered at multiple campuses
  • April 5th: the main event for students (breakfast and lunch provided for registered attendees) held at Deerwood
  • April 6th: the faculty professional development day (breakfast and lunch provided for registered attendees) held at Deerwood

The Student Life Skills Conference was created in 2013 to inspire and ignite the joy of learning in a college academic environment for students, faculty, and staff of FSCJ. Local high school students and faculty are also encouraged to attend this conference. Join us!

How to Register for the Pre-Conference Workshops, April 2nd - 4th

1) Monday, April 2nd, through Wednesday, April 4th, consists of pre-conference sessions available at multiple campus locations! All pre-conference sessions are designed for students, faculty, and staff.

How to Register for the Student-Focus Day, April 5th

2) Students: please register for the main event on Thursday, April 5th, by clicking the "select a date" option and then click the "register" button to reserve your ticket via this Eventbrite webpage. Breakfast and lunch provided for registered attendees. Doors open at 8:30am and the conference begins at 9:00am. There are mutliple sessions throughout the day, which concludes at 1:00pm. Attendees are not required to attend all of the conference sessions, but we strongly encourage you to join us for the entire event on this day! Location: Deerwood Center, B1204 and B1206

How to Register for the Faculty Professional Development Day, April 6th

3) Faculty and Staff: please >>CLICK HERE<< for a description of each session as well as directions to register for one percent salary incentives for the professional development day on Friday, April 6th. Breakfast and lunch provided for registered attendees.
