About this event
18th &19th Century Colloquium Presents its first event of the 2021-2022 academic year:
The Student-Faculty Conversation aims to facilitate a discussion between three PhD candidates working on eighteenth and nineteenth- century art, and a Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences faculty member. The hope is to expose the Yale community to the ongoing work processes of advanced PhD students, and to provide an opportunity for the presenter to receive feedback from scholars outside their field.

In conversation Professor Molly Brunson followed by a Reception.
The event will open with a brief introduction by a moderator and continue with a 15 minute presentation by each candidate, and a 20 minute conversation between the candidates and the faculty member about the work presented. We will conclude with a 20 minute Q&A and a reception to follow.
Due to COVID-19 related concerns and regulations, this event is limited to the Yale community and only for ticket holding guests.
