An Evening of Student One Act Plays
NICE GUYS written and directed by Maddie Roeber 18
WHY NOT? written and directed by Minna O’Connell 18
A PERIOD PIECE written and directed by Marie Siopy 18
A BOY NAMED FINN written and directed by Clara Johnson 18

NICE GUYS is a comedic play that serves as a gentle critique of a society in which there are many varying (and sometimes toxic) definitions of masculinity. The play follows three guys (played by girls) attending a class on how to interact with women and find the "man" within themselves. The class spirals out of control into the very stereotypes the characters, especially the teacher, are trying so hard to avoid.

WHY NOT? is a story of three teenagers and the way they deal with depression and suicide when it begins to affect their friendship.

A PERIOD PIECE describes the very trying and very true hardships that come with being a female. Margot is a twenty-something girl just trying to make it through each week without too many bumps and bruises but finds it harder when her period comes to life and commences to make things very difficult. Hilarity ensues, of course.

A BOY NAMED FINN is an unconventional love story of a relationship that withstands the tests of time. When an unexpected wish comes true, Finn and Addie’s friendship is put to the test. Could Finn’s idyllic dream really be a curse?
