Road to Success: Access, Attainment and Achievement:

Changes in college expectations, school accountability, career literacy, personal challenges for students, expectations of parents and other stakeholders all impact the services provided to students. With students as the focus of school-based programs, all staff must avail themselves to current information, data and systemic resources to meet student needs. This conference will give you updated information and inspire you to be the best educator and lead students toward college and career readiness opportunities of today and in the future.

When does registration open? When will it close?

Registration will open on April 1, 2017 and will close on May 22, 2017.

 

 How do I register for the conference?

You will register here on this site, there will be NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION AT THE CONFERENCE.  At the top of the page you can select how many tickets to the conference you would like to purchase. If help or assistance is needed please contact Tina Morandy at (801)538-7526 or Andrea Curtin at (801)538-7865, they will be available to help Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm MST. You can also email at CTEsummerconference@schools.utah.gov.

 How do I register for multiple attendees?

If you are registering multiple people you will need the name and email address of each attendee to complete the process. If help or assistance is needed please contact Tina Morandy at (801)538-7526 or Andrea Curtin at (801)538-7865, they will be available to help Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm MST. You can also email at CTEsummerconference@schools.utah.gov.

 What are the fees and rates of registration?

$45 (plus processing fee) Early Bird Registration: April 1 and runs until May 7, 2017. 

$55 (plus processing fee) Regular Registration: May 8 and runs until May 22, 2017.

THERE IS NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION!  

 What is the fee added to the registration price?

The fees ($3.24 for Early Bird or $3.74 for Regular) cover the costs of processing registrations and payments. 

 What are the payment options for conference registration? 

All payments must be done electronically. Credit card, electronic check, or a District/Charter/Institution purchase order are acceptable forms of payment. If you select an offline payment option you must have a purchase order number from your District/Charter/Institution. When registering, for this payment method please select "Pay by Invoice", the registration will be submitted once you press "Send Invoice." If help or assistance is needed please contact Tina Morandy at (801)538-7526 or Andrea Curtin at (801)538-7865, they will be available to help Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm MST. You can also email at CTEsummerconference@schools.utah.gov.

 What about offline payments?

Offline payments are only available to Districts/Charters/Institutions paying with a purchase order.  What is the schedule for the conference?

Registered attendees will be sent a link to an online schedule at Sched.com on May 1, 2017. Each attendee will create an account, then customize the schedule/sessions as wanted. If help or assistance is needed please contact Tina Morandy at (801)538-7526 or Amanda Charlesworth at (801)538-7640, they will be available to help Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm MST. You can also email at CTEsummerconference@schools.utah.gov

 What can/can't I bring to the event?

Please bring proof of registration (email confirmation or Eventbrite ticket), and any materials you will need to fully benefit from the conference (e.g. mobile device, pen, pencil, notebook). Please do not bring any guests not registered for the conference. 

What credit will be available at the conference?

Those who attend the full duration of the conference will be eligible for USBE Credit or Relicensure Points.

 Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, it is always smart to bring some proof of registration just in case there are any problems. 

 What is the refund policy?

Refunds will be made to those registrants who cancel by May 21, 2017. Send written notice of cancellation to ctesummerconference@schools.utah.gov. No refunds for cancellations will be made after May 22, 2017. 

 Can a substitute attendee be applied to a registration?

Yes, substitutions are accepted with written notice received by May 21, 2017. Send written notice of the substitution to ctesummerconference@schools.utah.gov. Please include name, email address, and phone number of the original attendee AND the substitute attendee.
