Stu Helm: The Food Fan and Shay Brown Events are happy to announce their first collaborative effort since 2019! Punk Rock Hot Dogs 2021 is a chef’s competition and a fundraiser for the historic Asheville Masonic Temple, which is in need of major repairs.
Chefs will be competing for fame, glory, street cred, bragging rights, honor, and prizes!
The Competitors are:
Storm Rhum Bar & Bistro, Bun It LLC, The Malvern / Barksdale, Cultura, The Odditorium, Baba Nahm, Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ, Pupuseria Paty‘s Asheville, and Zack of All Trades.
The Panel of 12 Judges Includes:
The 2019 Punk Rock Hot Dogs Champion, Chef Steven Goff (formerly of AUX Bar, currently with Jargon), Urban Combat Wrestling tag-team local phenoms, The White Claw Outlaws, as well as Judge Ruth Bater Skinsburg, Team Hot-dog Dumpster, People with Meat Tattoos, and other misfits.
The People‘s Choice will be awarded by 160 VIP Ticket Holders.

$50.00 VIP Ticket Admits 2 People and includes one of every competing hot dog (up to 10 dogs),
plus a chance to vote in the People’s Choice.
