Structuring Your Garden for Abundance! - 3rd class
Event Information
Description
Have you planted a garden with the enjoyment of eating 5 or 6 pounds of nice fresh tomatoes, enough squash to make a few loaves of zucchini bread, and lettuce for a weeks worth of salads. What if you could do better? What if you could get 50 to 100 pounds of Tomatoes from one plant and harvest for months. What if you could get so many squash that you have to share them with friends and family. How rewarding would it be to harvest salad greens 8 to 12 months a year? If you plan your garden well you can do all of this and more on one city parcel with an average sized house on it.
Believe it or not now is the time to plan for 2020, as well as having a good production in 2019. You can plan a garden that not only produces great food; but one that is aesthetically pleasing and fun to work in. In this 2 hour class we will talk about real world examples of great garden planning, walk around the garden center and talk about ways you can take advantage of your plot. You will walk away with a garden planner complete with examples of how to set up your garden, how structure can help in garden rotations as well as what should stay in one place from year to year.
Come learn from Bill Young as he helps impart gardening knowledge based on 45 years of experience. Fee includes a garden workbook for each participant.
