Event description

Description

For the last 30 years, Structural Forum has been building relationships between the students of Cal Poly’s Architectural Engineering Department and structural engineering professionals. As we celebrate Structural Forum 2020, it is exciting to look back and see the growth and impact of this event as well as look forward to the future and see how it will evolve in the next 30 years. The event will take place on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 at the Alex Madonna Expo Center in San Luis Obispo.

If you are not familiar with Structural Forum, our student chapter of the Structural Engineers Association of California (SEAOC) hosts the event every year to connect structural engineering professionals and students. The event includes two portions, occurring in the morning and evening. The day program will be held on Cal Poly’s campus and will feature presentations from three distinguished individuals in the structural engineering field. This portion is free for all to attend. The evening program, held at the Alex Madonna Expo Center, includes a career fair, banquet, and special keynote speaker. It gives students the opportunity to interact with professionals in the structural engineering field and provides companies with the chance to promote their firm and recruit aspiring students.
