Clinicians + community members will come together to educate and empower one another to increase minority groups' participation in therapy.

This panel discussion was organized by Lauren McBride, MA, LCPC, Psychotherapist and Founder of Healed and Whole Counseling Services LLC, and also features:

Claude L. King, Clinical Therapist, LCPC

Maria Hernandez, MSW, LSW

Gauri Goswami, MSW, LSW

Attendees will learn:

  • Stigmas in the minority community that decrease people seeking out therapy
  • Common mental health misdiagnoses for minority groups
  • Effective therapeutic techniques for minority groups
  • How to successfully engage minority clients

Clinicians in attendance will receive 1.5 FREE CEUs. [Note: Unfortunately, we are not able to provide CEUs on site. Certificates are provided via email or USPS and typically take 10 days-2 weeks to arrive.]
