About this event
Join the Kalamazoo community for a night a great baseball and support local pediatric and adult cancer survivors at the annual Strike Out Cancer game! This is an exciting and heartwarming game that honors courageous individuals of all ages who have battled or are still battling cancer. Attendance at this particular game will also benefit two nonprofits dedicated to providing support to cancer patients in the surrounding area. Cancer Families United and the American Cancer Society will benefit from the Miracle Minute and the 50/50 raffled throughout the game, as well as having a section dedicated to their survivors and care givers. Your ticket purchase will be in the CFU section and you'll be among the biggest cheering section at the stadium. For those who are not familar with the Miracle Minute: when it is announced for the Miracle Minute to begin, volunteers will race around the stadium with collection bags trying to raise as much money as possible in ONE MINUTE. This dollar amount will be split 50/50 with the other nonprofit, American Cancer Society. Come with a little extra cash and help these two nonprofits raise some money on a night supporting their surivivors.
