Description

A STRIDE Learning Lab on (Self-) Organizational models for the future of business

“Self-organization is commonly mistaken by just removing hierarchy and managers. This, of course, leads to chaos and confusion. Self-organization relies on a whole set of structures and practices that change everything from how decisions are made, how projects are run, how performance is evaluated, how people are recruited, compensated, etc.” - Frederic Laloux

The world we create is changing in many ways. One very important aspect is work. Work not only occupies large parts of our lives, but it also provides the means by which we change our very world. Work is the collective creation of change. Never in history did we have as much power to influence our work as teams have today. Our influence over work comes with the shared responsibility to seize it in beneficial ways. This forces us to rethink how work works in the contemporary world – and how it should work. We shape the way we organize ourselves in teams and organizations. We collectively design the tools we work with, as well as how and where we perform work; individually, with clients, and with our teams. We are designing the structure of our working days as well as of work itself.

This STRIDE Lab on leading self-organizing teams in next generation organizations will prepare you for the future of successful ways to organize work.
