The STRIDE Collaborative is pleased to present an educational, informative, one-hour webinar on Electric School Buses and V2G.

About this event

As part of a new Electric School Bus Webinar Series, the STRIDE Collaborative is pleased to present an educational, informative, one-hour webinar designed to give the audience an overview of how the power stored in the battery of an electric school bus or electric commercial vehicle can be used by the electric utility to supplement power to the electric grid, and/or by the vehicle owner for peak shaving and emergency service. This type of distributed power resource is commonly referred to as Vehicle to Grid or V2G.

Presenters:

David Jaskolski

– David is responsible for Advanced Technology Vehicle Sales at Peach State Truck Centers, a commercial truck and school bus dealer based in Norcross, GA. David, a longtime SEDC and STRIDE member, has a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi along with 40 years of experience with commercial trucks and school buses.

Mark Childers

– Mark is the Powertrain and Technology Sales Manager for Thomas Built Bus, a school bus manufacturer based in High Point, North Carolina. Mark has a BSBA degree in finance from Appalachian State University and an MBA from Elan University, along with 36 years of experience with commercial trucks and school buses.

Mike Adams

– Mike is the Director, Channel Sales, for Proterra, an electric transit bus company based in Burlingame, California with a manufacturing facility in Greenville, South Carolina. Mike has a BS in Administration and Management from Laurel University and 26 years of experience with commercial trucks and school buses.
