Throughout the day, across the community, women like you will make a difference. Sign up for one or more classes and treat yourself to an hour of exercise, meditation, and/or nutrition education with women who share a passion for our Jewish community. All ages and beginners are welcome in every class. There is no charge to attend one or more of the classes below, but a minimum $18 gift to the Federation’s 2012 Annual Campaign is required to participate. Stretch your mind, body and hand at the Jewish Federation’s Women’s Department’s fourth annual Stretch to Help on Sunday, April 29!


Join women of all ages and abilities and take part in this community-wide event.  There is no charge to attend one or more of the classes above, but a minimum $18 gift to the Federation’s 2012 Annual Campaign is required to participate. If you have already made a contribution of $18 or more, there is no additional donation required.


Your participation will make a huge difference in others’ lives, and you will feel good too!  Don’t miss out - Space is limited and reservations for classes are made on a first-come, first-served basis. 


Each participant must register individually.  If you are registering with a child, please do not include them in the number of tickets you select.

The Women’s Department of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit connects and involves women throughout the community in the work of Federation. Women’s Department plays a key role in raising funds for the Jewish Federation to meet Jewish needs locally, in Israel, and around the world. Through educational programming, multiple volunteer opportunities and fundraising initiatives, the Women’s Department empowers women, strengthens Jewish identity and promotes the values of Tzedakah (justice, often embodied as acts of charity) and Tikkun Olam (repairing the world).
