George Mason University researchers are recruiting participants for a study in the Springfield, Virginia area. We are seeking parents of children with autism spectrum disorder to take part in an eight-week stress relief training course.
WHO: Parents of children under 21 years old who have an ASD diagnosis.
WHAT: Parents are invited to participate in an eight-week stress reduction course. Participants will complete several online assessments over sixteen weeks.
COST: Free to participants - The cost of the course will be paid for by George Mason University researchers.
WHEN: Classes meet on Wednesdays from 9:30 - 11:30 AM for eight consecutive weeks, between 10/5/16 and 1/18/17.
WHERE: Classes will meet in an office space on Old Keene Mill Rd in Springfield, VA

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There is no age limit or ID required for the participating parent. However s/he will be asked to provide evidence of the child with ASD's clinical diagnosis before beginning the course, and the child with ASD should be under 21 years old.

Free parking is available in the office parking lot.

The course is intended for the parent/caregiver (it is not intended for children).
