Please be aware this is a four week course starting Tuesday 3rd October and running every Tuesday from 6pm-8pm until Tuesday 24th October. By registering yourself for week 1 you are also commiting to attending all consecutive weeks.

What is it?

Come along and learn to deal with stress, sleep better and feel better. Our stress management course is designed to offer people a better understanding of what stress is, how it affects thoughts, feelings and behaviours and introduces participants to new ways to use relaxation and stress management techniques which will allow them to sleep better, take time out and improve overall wellbeing. This course is made up of 4 separate workshops (please subscribe to all four) which each last 2 hours and cover a separate topic each week.

  • Workshop 1 - What is stress?

  • Workshop 2 - Behaviour and stress

  • Workshop 3 - Thought patterns and stress

  • Workshop 4 - Problem solving and wellbeing

What should I expect when I attend?

This course is delivered in presentation style. Participation from audience will be limited and completely voluntary.


Please note: These courses are freely available to anyone living in the Glasgow City Council area. If you do not have a Glasgow City postcode unfortunately we will not be able to offer you a place on this course.
