Description

Weight lifting is an important aspect of training that many runners neglect. Running itself is a fantastic form of exercise, however it is a repetitive motion that occurs in one plane of movement. The stabilizers around the hip and knee joints are not trained in this linear pattern. This can lead to weaknesses around these important joints, especially when movement deviates from the straight plane, such as when you are avoiding that giant pot hole in the road!

Dr. AJ Gagliardi will discuss the importance of training in multiple planes so that injury is less likely to occur. Take home some exercises to make you a stronger runner.
