This InspireChilli performance brings to life insights on youth charity and youth identity through a celebration of Lou Reed's 1978 Street Hassle album.

Searching for Authenticity reveals the hidden influences behind Street Hassle's birth, from the significance of its album cover to the samurai-like inspiration and New York context to Reed's powerful songs. The album's 45th anniversary provides a platform to explore our own truths through the stories of young activists and youth charities overcoming disadvantage today, experienced alongside the voices of Lou Reed, a Japanese lecturer, and TEDx speaker/founder of Advantaged Thinking C. Falconer from InspireChilli.

The show includes selected extracts from Street Hassle with permission from Sony Records and the Lou Reed estate, presented in a mixed format that blends live theatre with music, images and words.

Be part of the audience for this unique night of entertainment and inspiration at The Young Actor's Theatre Islington by purchasing a £10 ticket, with all money donated to the work of charities We Belong and Sounddelivery Media. Adult themes and strong language means that the show is age restricted to 16+ only.
