Once Upon a Wine, Charlotte only had eyes for the wines of California and Australia. But the last decade has given Charlotteans plenty of more reasons to Wine!
Join Trevor Woods, Beverage Director for Cicchetti as he walks you through three wine flights.
Flight 1: Old School Faves
Flight 2: New Kids on the Block
Flight 3: Cicchetti
Your ticket includes tastings of 12 wines, plus a Cicchetti (small bites) flight alongside. Featuring wine from the likes of Silver Oak, Molly Dooker, Orin Swift and Daou.
Advance ticket purchase is required. This is a 21+ event.
ABOUT CICCHETTI
Cicchetti (“chee-KEH-tee”), a wine bar in Uptown Charlotte featuring authentic Italian small dishes, interprets the classic Venetian bacaro. At these casual and convivial spots, locals gather to enjoy glasses of wine alongside savory small bites, or cicchetti, Venice’s version of tapas. Offering an all-world wine selection, wines by the glass or bottle, beer, and a curated cocktail list of just your favorites.
CHARLOTTE StrEATs FESTIVAL
The StrEAT Smarts Sessions are a new addition to the 2023 Charlotte StrEATs Festival, part of Charlotte SHOUT! These intimate seminars give you the opportunity to learn from experts on a variety of culinary subjects. These sessions will take place from April 1-14th and will lead up to the big StrEATs weekend! In partnership with Charlotte SHOUT!, food publication Unpretentious Palate and Carben Events are excited to introduce a new festival celebrating the chefs and neighborhoods that make Charlotte's culinary scene what it is.
Attendees will taste their way through the city's most iconic neighborhoods without leaving Gateway Village in Uptown! The festival will also feature cooking demonstrations, neighborhood vs. neighborhood cook-offs, celebrity chefs, food trucks, live music, art and vendors.
