Description

Children with vision loss face a unique set of challenges in the learning environment. This workshop is designed to help general and special educators (grades K-12):

  • Identify the main characteristics of their student's eye condition
  • Recognize how this condition impacts the student's learning
  • Develop strategies to address individual needs AND
  • Improve the 'Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in his/her classroom

Date: Wednesday, October 2, 2019

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration begins at 8:30

Location: BESB, 184 Windsor Ave, Windsor, CT 06095

There is no fee to participate!

Maximum number of participants is 50. If necessary, number of team members may be capped at 3.

Lunch is on your own and may be brought in or purchased at the on-site micro cafe (debit or credit - no cash).

WIFI will not be available.

Parking is in the main lot and can be accessed from the Windsor Ave. entrance. Detailed map will be sent after registration.
