Event description

Description

Is your organization ready for 2019 and beyond? Is your current strategic plan outdated? Are you even following your board-approved goals? Are your programs in need of improvement? Are you trying to implement organization-wide changes and facing resistance? Are you ready and willing to learn a new future-focused planning process that will lead to systemic-wide service delivery improvements?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then register early and bring your team of 3-5 (executive committee board members, administrators, program staff, and/or others) to a fast-paced, in-depth organizational focus planning session with the Dream Team (Dr. Bev Browning, Certified Strategic Planning Facilitator and Kim Joyce, Grant Professional Certified). Both trainers have completed the McNellis Compression Planning® Training Institute (September 2018: Dallas). Dr. Bev and Kim have personally invested thousands of dollars to learn the basics of Compression Planning® and have incorporated Dr. Bev’s training from the Consultant’s Development Institute.

How to prepare for this first-time offered focus planning event:

-Come with a planning project in mind

-Bring team members capable of making decisions for the organization

-Arrive on time

Included in your registration fee:

-Storyboards (you can take these visual planning outcomes boards with you to view all of your focus planning efforts at your workplace)

-Traditional Compression Planning® supplies

-Box lunches and bottled water (assortment of vegetarian and regular box lunches).

The fee for your organization’s focus planning team has been significantly reduced to enable small- to large-scale Arizona nonprofit organizations to benefit from this training.

Learning takeaways:

-Ability to understand the importance of past organizational accomplishments and how they have built the framework for moving forward in the focus planning process.

-Understanding the importance of lessons learned.

-Using future visioning to see where you want your organization to be and developing a strategy to reach your goals.

Registration fee per organization (3-5 person team): $495

Limited to 10 teams. REGISTER EARLY!

NOTE: This event is being planned by the Grant Writing Training Foundation, Kim Joyce and Associates, and Bev Browning, LLC. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE ARIZONA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION WITH ANY QUESTIONS. You may contact the trainers directly:
