For communications and marketing specialists working in international education, delivering the right message on what your school offers and how it will contribute to developing thoughtful and internationally-minded students is paramount.

CALL FOR SPEAKERS

We are seeking new and innovative speaker proposals that allow us to dive deep into strategic communications and marketing for international schools. All proposals should include actionable steps for attendees to take away and should cover one of the topics below. Partner presentations are welcome!

Social Media

We are seeking proposals on how to best use various social media tools to showcase teaching, student activities and learning, sports and more. Show us what you have and how schools can leverage social media to tell their stories and share successes.

Website Strategy

We want presentations that will allows us to explore the ins and outs of great school websites – from strategy to imagery and how schools can use this channel to further extend their reach to stakeholders.

Data Privacy and Child Protection

Now more than ever data protection is driving how schools communicate – both internally and externally. What steps have you taken to ensure compliance and how can we, as international schools, come together to ensure we are meeting the requirements of child protection and data privacy in all of our communications

Marketing, Marketing, Marketing

From print to digital the importance of targeted marketing is increasing. We are seeking presentations that provide new strategies and solutions that can help differentiate our schools from the rest of the pack. From photography, magazines, brochures, websites and micro-sites we want presentations that explore innovative branding, marketing and communications strategies for international schools.

Internal Communications

How do you engage your internal stakeholders? How do you define them and what methods are the best in connecting them with your strategic goals? Getting buy in builds support –so how do you involve your internal stakeholders within your school in your communications processes?

Crisis Management

We all have experienced a crisis (or two or three) and have struggled to find solutions to manage our message as well as our organisation's reputation. We are seeking proposals which can provide some best practice tips and tricks for crisis communications within an international school context.


WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Communications and marketing span the entire school community. This conference welcomes international school communications and marketing experts and those who work daily with them to achieve their goals (administrators, advancement and alumni professionals, graphic and digital designers, and web and data specialists.)

DEADLINE FOR PAPERS

The deadline for the Call for Speakers is September 1, 2017. Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis.
