About this event
Repeat after me- “This is nature…take it in.”
Discover your place in a decaying world with STRANGE NATURES, the immersive show that explores queer identity, pleasure, and the beauty of decay. Immerse yourself in a glittery, trash-filled journey with chaotic vignettes that challenge you to lean into our increasingly plastic future. STRANGE NATURES invites you to find kinship with each other, with trash, and with an ever-evolving world. Don't miss out on a kaleidoscopic experience.
STRANGE NATURES is an unapologetically queer show, and thus contains aesthetically relevant sexualized non-nudity, drag, lip-syncing, ball-pits, potions, and plenty of sparkly things.
The performance runs for approximately 75 minutes.
STRANGE NATURES follows Control Group’s model of expeditionary performance and therefore utilizes varied terrain. Our extensive work ensures that each show is an accessible experience, though there may be moments where using mobility devices may take extra time. A full accessibility guide will be available on our website soon.
STRANGE NATURES is presented in collaboration with The Aurora History Museum and the City of Aurora.
