Celebrate Children's Book Week with the author and illustrator of THE LOST PACKAGE, as we make friends and journey through the postal system
About this event
Jessica Lanan is the author and illustrator of The Fisherman and the Whale, winner of the 2020 Bull-Bransom award for wildlife illustration, and the illustrator of seven other books for young people. She enjoys helping young readers to discover the beauty and diversity of their world. She lives in Boulder, Colorado.
Richard Ho is a children’s book author who was once, himself, a child. He is a former journalist and educational scriptwriter who enjoys writing stories about science, culture, and the magic of everyday life. He is also the author of Red Rover: Curiosity on Mars, illustrated by Katherine Roy. The Lost Package is his second book for young readers.
ABOUT THE BOOK
Like other packages, this one began as an empty box . . .packed with great care, sealed tight, and given a personal touch.
Like other packages, it left the post office with hope. But unlike most packages,
it
got
lost.
Follow one package’s journey from lost to found—and discover the friendships it delivers along the way.
