Spend the evening with the community of West Pullman at storytelling theatre, the Night Before Christmas. An evening filled with food, fun, and laughter, come and lend your ear as local storytellers weave an evening of Christmas wonder. Chicago’s own Lauren Ward kicks off the evening of sharing. A love for the performing arts was cultivated at an early age for Lauren. She has been deemed a motivational speaker since she delivered a standing ovation-worthy 8th grade commencement speech. Her outgoing and exuberant personality hugs every word and is sure to hold you captive.
Monies raise will help to establish a food bank serving families living in the communities located in the Far South Side of Chicago, Riverdale, and Harvey.
Doors open at 6:00pm with passed tapas (a little weightier than appetizers), and a hosted non-alcoholic beer and wine bar. Storytelling Theatre begins promptly at 7pm. See you there!
