Event description

Description

Are you an entrepreneur looking to help tell your brands story? Are you looking for investors, clients or beta testers and don't know how to tell your story?

Join NYDesigns & Ivy Cohen Corporate Communications for a workshop to learn stroytelling techniques, tricks and tools to tell your story. Selling hardware and manufacturable solutions can be hard.

Early stage startups are connecting with people everyday to introduce them to their new big idea. It can be hard to find people who are receptive to hear your story, and once you have someone’s attention, you can’t afford to bore or alienate them. Your story has to connect with people emotionally and standout above the clutter. There is enormous competition for investment, staff, expertise and other support as you build your startup. This workshop will prepare entrepreneurs to create their early startup story. You will learn about:

  • Mechanics of a story, along with the key components to develop your own brand story

  • Ways to create story magic that resonates with your customer

  • Pitfalls to avoid
