Story Workshop - A creative, original way to sell
Fri, October 14, 2016, 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM BST
Do you have trouble selling yourself and your services?
Are you pitching enough? Do you know how to pitch and when?
Do you hate long form sales letters as much as I do?
Would you like to learn how to do a soft sell in a fun way using Facebook and Story and your own brand?
Big Me Uppers are fitness pro's, PT's, Pilates Instructors, Yoga teachers, Tutors, Coaches, Chiropractors. They all live and breath the health and wellness world and they try to make their way in this crazy world by being part time marketers, copy writers, webinar hosts, speakers and a Jack of all trades. Sound familiar?
I’m Yvonne Radley and I love nothing more than getting in a room full of people passionate about their business and showing them an easier way not to SELL but to ATTRACT buyers.
My speciality is communication - anything to do with words and images that create your profile or brand. From your Facebook status update to your website copy to your Instagram pictures to your latest tweet.
It all says something about you. I work daily with entrepreneurs just like you to craft original, creative copy that is going to have the clients you love love love knocking on your door to work with you.
I use my background in script-writing and journalism and six years of creating forward thinking, successful brands to show you how you can do the same in your business - all using the power of STORY.
I will share my 10-step avant garde system with you. It's a progressive system that came naturally to me because of my background but when I stopped and thought about the process I went through to attract buyers into my own business I realised it was a clever, unorthodox approach that anyone can use.
I have doubled turnover in my business year on year using this exact system.
I'm keeping the numbers intimate with no more than 20 of us so we can dive deep on this intimate training where we pull out your story and develop your online persona.
You don't need to be a good writer - we have lots of fun exercises using social media to get your message across.
There's ten steps in total which include
The crucial Facebook Narrative
Your engaging branding.
Your story arc and why you need a separate one for social.
We'll be getting our heads down and getting the work done on the day so no deadlines to keep and no notes to read up on when you get home.
I love events like these because those relationships made on that day can last a lifetime and who knows where they will lead?
The room will be filled with other entrepreneurial minds who can all put a fresh pair of eyes directly onto your business and give you a fresh perspective.
I will be there with you to hold your hand and show you the path.
I truly believe being out of your normal enviroment and brainstorming with others can conjur up the most inventive of ideas and I will be challenging you and pushing you every step of the way to think bigger than you've ever thought before.
I have written for TV, Radio, Newspapers and Magazines for all the BIG names, BBC, Sky, Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph, Woman Magazine, Capital FM, Heart FM and Classic FM so I know immediately where you should tell your story.
I've also worked as a screenwriter for two years and know the power of the story and how you can use that to give you a new perspective.
It's going to be an exciing day with lots of clarity and new ideas.
Big dreams and new friendships.
I am really looking forward to this event and I hope you can join me in Nottingham.
Who is this event for?
This event is for entrepreneurs who are looking for a new way to attract buyers rather than sell, sell sell. This is for start ups and established businesses who want to grow their client base. Yvonne works mainly with people in the fitness and wellness realm but you don't have to work in this industry to attend.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
All you need is yourself and a notebook.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
