About this event
Have you ever heard someone share their lived experience and thought, "No way... someone really lived through that?!"
Every day, someone has an encounter that changes them-- opens their eyes, molds their mentality, brings them resounding joy or brings them years of pain.
Our Story Exchange Workshop is dedicated to unpacking personal experiences, exchanging perspectives and putting yourself in another person's shoes in order to empathize with them.
During our workshop, we'll address experiences related to cultural appropriation, feeling less "American" and experiences with self or others avoiding subjects about race.
Ultimately, participating in events like this workshop not only contributes to developing racial literacy but can even be a cathartic means for individuals to release their racial trauma and establish more profound allyship between communities.
Sign up now and attend our Story Exchange workshop on December 3rd at 11AM EST!
Although our event is free, we kindly ask for donations towards our nonprofit in order to continue our work with our community.
