Troupe-Adore presents, Storm Warning by Norm Foster, starring Josh Oatman, and Daneille Gamache. Storm Warning is the story of emotionally damaged World War Two veteran Jack Forrester and a brassy amphetamine-popping music writer named Emma Currie. Set in 1953, it tells the story of two hearts that come together one September weekend. Two hearts which will beat differently from that weekend on.
The event venue offers a licenced cash bar, and as well, Troupe-Adore volunteers will have a concession stand with affordably priced snacks for pre-show, intermission, and post-show indulgence. (Proceeds from ticket and concession sales will go to fund other Troupe-Adore arts and culture endeavours in Shelburne, Ontario). 30 minutes before the show begins, patrons will have an opportunity to purchase drinks from the bar, as well as concession stand snacks. At the end of Act 1, there will be a 15 minute intermission for drinks and snacks again before Act 2 begins.
*Not recommended for young children due to language and content - this is more of a PG or mature audience play.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Because of the mature nature of the play, and the venue having a cash bar,, we suggest no young children, please. If you would like to purchase alcoholic beverages from the bar, appropriate ID is required, as with any other licenced venue.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The curling club has a parking area, and general street parking is available if that fills up.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
No food or drink please. Troupe-Adore will have a concession stand with food and water, juices, and so on, and the Curling club bar will be open to serve your alcoholic beverage needs.
