Event description

Description

Stories for the Stage

Lighthearted and fast paced, Stories for the Stage begins with Improv games and collaborative storytelling exercises, then builds to the creation of improvised, original performances. A chance to develop and communicate ideas as part of a team, the focus is on developing the listening and supporting skills at the heart of improvised comedy. Excellent for less experienced performers, and a good refresher for those who already know the basics. Campers will perform for an audience at ColdTowne Theater at 5 pm on Sunday, August 4 at ColdTowne Theater.

Important to Note:

This is a Full Day camp (9 am to 4 pm) that includes a half day option (9 am to noon). Half Day students focus on creating work specifically designed for this session. Students who stay for the full day have the opportunity to work on special projects, play with friends under staff supervision or collaborate with older campers on performance work. Full day campers should bring a lunch.

The performance for this class will be Sunday, August 4 at 5 pm at ColdTowne Theater.
