Stories 2019: Feminism, Immigration, & Policy

To launch our new IEA Councils Retreat, "Stories", our themes this year include feminism, immigration, & policy. During this one-day event, we will touch on these different issues affecting our East African diaspora community, on a local, national, and international scale. We will hear from professionals in these industries, as well as engage in interactive activities in small groups. Our goal for this retreat is to encourage our current students, alumni, and network to give back to our communities and provide them with the knowledge and resources necessary to do so.
