Description
Human Trafficking is a worldwide epidemic that affects more than 40 million people across the globe! Millions of which live right here in the United States of America. Victims are being forced into trafficking at an average age of 12-14 years old!
Often referred to as "modern day slavery", human trafficking is defined as "the trade of humans for the purpose of forced labour, sexual slavery, or commercial sexual exploitation for the trafficker or others, by methods of force, fraud or coercion." Human trafficking is a multi-billion dollar industry.
We have assembled an incredible panel of experts who will answer the vital questions:
- Who trafficking affects?
- How traffickers operate and who they target?
- What it is like to be involved in human trafficking?
- How a survivor can heal and reclaim their life after trafficking?
- What laws exist to protect victims?
- How you may knowingly or unknowingly be supporting human trafficking?
- What you can do to help STOP the suffering?
