Description

Registration for this course opens on 2/1/18.

Did you know that Trauma is the # 1 cause of death for Americans between the ages of 1 and 46 years old and is the # 3 cause of death overall in the United States? 35% of victims die due to severe bleeding before they get to a hospital in an emergency situation.

“Stop the bleed” is a nationwide campaign to empower individuals to act quickly and save lives. A person who is bleeding can die from blood loss within five minutes. “Stop the Bleed” initiative hopes to save lives by educating bystanders on techniques to help stop severe bleeding.

No one plans to be a victim, no one plans to witness tragedy, but ANYONE can learn to be a hero!!
